Questions about Public School Choice, your application, or your wallet.
Frequently asked
- Can I withdraw scholarship funds as cash?
- No. Your wallet holds credits, not cash. There are no withdrawals, transfers, or reimbursements to a personal account. Credits pay approved providers directly for qualified expenses.
- What counts as a qualified education expense?
- Currently: tutoring, technology, connectivity, enrichment, curriculum, testing fees. Anything outside these categories is blocked at checkout.
- Does the program recommend a provider?
- No. Providers are listed alphabetically with no ranking, promotion, or default. Choosing a provider is entirely your family's decision.
- How much can my student receive?
- Up to $1,700 per student, determined solely by the Scholarship Granting Organization.
- Can a donor direct a gift to my student?
- No. Contributions cannot be earmarked, and no gift guarantees any student a scholarship.
